Like all writers I love to read, and critically reviewing the writing of others helps me to hone my own.
I currently review for Lunate and have written for Sabotage Reviews, The Short Review and PANK.
I’ve also written reviews and conducted an occasional interview for Electric Literature. I had this to say about Scottish author Jess Kidd’s debut novel Himself.
I was Literature Editor of California-based Celtic Family Magazine from 2013 to 2016, and during that time interviewed contemporary novelists from Wales, Ireland and Scotland, including Francesca Rhydderch, Eimear McBride and Kirsty Logan.
